breaking lease

I signed a lease 04/10/03 the lease starts 04/15/03.paid 1st,last,and security.I have to break the lease.I was told there is a 3 business day period in MA.were you can break a lease and get your money back.is this true.

Re: breaking lease

There is no 3 business day right to cancel a lease. Once the lease is signed, it is fully binding on both parties. In some consumer contexts, there is a 3 day right to cancel a contract, however, this does not apply to residential leases.
