Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts

I fell in the parking lot.

I was wondering. I work for a company that has at least 4 doors to get into the building. However, we are only able to use the front door. Since 9/11 all the other doors have been closed. We have to walk from the back of the building to the front. Well it is at least 1/8 or more of a mile. Anyway on my walk to the front door. I slipped and fell on ice. I messed up my shoulder and hit my head, which is now causing headaches. I was told that the company WILL NOT pay for another security guard for another door. But, what I don't understand is that they have 3 guards guarding the front door. Is there any action that I can take? Thanks

Re: I fell in the parking lot.

Because you were hurt on the job, you may be entitled to workers' comp. payments for expenses and/or lost time. I am not a comp. expert, but it is worth looking into. As to the second door, I see no remedy unless you are disabled, and can make a claim under disability laws.
