Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

my daughters house was sold at auction it is now bank owned it was sold 9/2/10 they are sitll occuping the home they filed chapter 13 and now have to pay 3,000 a month rent why has the bank not evicted them. It seems they got away with keeping their home is this true?
