i owen land and have deeds to land

the town will not excspt my deeds to said land but thay take my taxes for land thay said land is unknow

Retain an attorney to review the "deeds" you have. You may be paying taxes on land owned by another person.

The deeds are legal documents that reflect transfers of ownership. Deeds are filed with the Registry of Deeds in the County where the property is located.
