Protecting my home from Judgement

How do I protect my home from a judgement lien. I have homestead but that just protects me from having to sell the home to pay debtor.

The Judgment Lien is only good if you have more than $500K in equity. Other than making an accomodation/ settlement with lienholder, your only alternative is to either pay the judgment or file bankruptcy.
