Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

real estate

I own property with an ex-partner.

We are joint tenants in its entirety

with survivorship rights. I petitioned

to partition, received a judgement,

and I'm appealing. He then deeded

it someone for a dollar, who then

deeded it back to him the same day.

He said that broke the joint tenancy

and made it tenants in common

without survivorship. I knew

nothing about this and did not sign

anything. Is this legal?
