Legal Question in Social Security Law in Massachusetts

Social Security Disabilty

My husband is 51 and is scheduled to have total knee replacement in a few weeks. He has been unable to work since to 2006 as result of his chronic pain condition. We where hoping the alternative therapies would have helped him but they didnot. He filed for SSDI benefits in september and received a denial determination two weeks ago. How long does it take to get through the appeals in massachussetts and will it be overuturned?

Thank you

Re: Social Security Disabilty

Most people get denied the first time around. The most important thing right know is to file your appeal, as you only have a certain amount of time to do so. Please feel free to contact me for a free consultation if you would like me to represent you in this situation.
