Legal Question in Tax Law in Massachusetts

Legal Parent

I am completing student aid forms

for my son's college education. My

son and I have been living with a

man for 20 years, who may or may

not be my son's father. There is no

father listed on my son's birth

certificate. When you fill out financial

aid forms they ask for parental

support. Would I have to list this

man as support even though he may

not be my son's father?
