Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts

am i a fugitive of justice

i was stopped for OUI offense in state of MA about six/seven years ago. i live in KS and was released without having to post any bond with the assistance of a public defender. public defender was a nice guy, but i couldn't get a straight answer out of him and it dragged on and on. after about a year, i called two separate state agencies in MA to tell me whether i had any outstanding warrants. their answer was 'no'. i was recently declined right to purchase a firearm where i've had no such trouble before. i am contesting this thru proper channels, and i now question whether i really do have an old warrant from MA. (about five years ago, i received a letter from state of MA stating i could reinstate driving privileges in MA for $50 - but didn't do it as I don't go there often. is it possible i do have an outstanding offense?

You need to run your record with the MA Probation and Parole Board to see if there is a warrant for your arrest
