The obligations of the trustees and the rights of the beneficiaries are all set forth in the trust documents.

If you have access to the trust, you should be able to determine your rights under the trust. In order to have standing you would first need to be a beneficiary under the trust, secondly you could find information about the powers of the beneficiary with regards to the trustee and/or removal or appointment of a successor trustee.

As for an accounting of the trust, to determine its assets and recent payouts, there will also be a provision on who can request and accounting and/or if accountings are mandatory to all beneficiaries on request or yearly... etc...

If you have access to the trust and are having trouble determining your rights under it, please contact me and I would be more than happy to help you understand your rights and accomplish your goals.
