Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

My great uncle died 10 years ago...my brother and I inherited house that belonged originally to our great-grandfather...in addition he set up trust fund for benefit of public school kids to go to colege to study engineering of $250,000...according to lawyer who handled estate, taxes etc ate up the amount to fund trust...he insisted that my brother and I fund the difference to be able to get deed to house we each borrowed 30k...got the house, held for awhile but had to sell cause we couldnt afford taxes etc...right before christmas 2010 got a letter from him asking probate to allow accounts 1-10...I objected and now he is trying to strike my appearance...school closed, no one will ever benefit from fund except he and co-trustee(he is executor and trustee of fund) and now that we funded the difference in 2002 he has whatever the fund has earned in addition to the original 250k...I just want my 30k back...is that possible...we have never seen any accounting of the actual estate numbers..can we stop him?

I suggest you contact an attorney immediately. Who was Executor of the Estate? Who are the beneficiaries?

Go to the probate court and get a complete copy of the file and then contact an attorney to review all pending matters, including the accounting.

Please feel free to contact me without obligation.
