Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

What exactly is included in a will when one leaves "all my wordly goods" to someone that does not live with you. I am in a second marrage of 2 years. We are both older and I do not want an adult child trying to take things in my home or my husband's car, computer etc., when one of us predeceases the other. me. Does it include things inside the home or located on the property? Thank you.

Second marriages require thoughtful estate planning in order to prevent one spouse's children from inheriting assets at the expense of the other spouse's children or favored heirs. Trusts and pre-nuptial or post-nuptial contracts are often used for this purpose.

Please contact an experienced estate planning attorney to review your situation and make sure that your goals are more likely to be achieved.

I would strongly suggest you contact an attorney who does estate planning to make sure what you want to go to your second husband goes to him. Also, you can make provisions for your children and grandchildren, after his demise if you wish.

All my worldly goods means all my tangible property.
