Can another person be added to act as an additional trustee along with the original person assigned in an irrevocable trust if all the parties agree?

Everything is governed by the language of the trust. You need to read the trust carefully and see what provisions are included for the addition of trustees.

I strongly suggest you take a copy of the trust to an estate planning attorney and have it reviewed.
