Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

How to probate a will?

I have to probate a will and get appointment papers. Is this something I need a lawyer for or if I go to the court is this something they can walk me through?

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to probate a will?

Probating a will can be complicated. Depending upon the size of the estate and what is included in probate this can be difficult. Also, an estate tax return may be required for both the Commonwealth and the Federal Government.

I would suggest you contact an attorney to review what is needed and to help simplify the matter.
