Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

We already have a will, but we want our son, as the Executor, to have something written to explain about the disinheritance of his sibling, to make it easier on my son to carry out our wishes. Even though it's clear in the will who inherits our estate, how do you explain things, like we don't want our daughter coming into our home and taking things, in some kind of memorandum (in the state of MA)?

Not only is this permissible, but it would be a very good idea. You want to carefully set out the reasons for the disinheritance in a memorandum, which I suggest should be signed in front of a notary. I would then keep the original with the will, and make sure your attorney has a copy.
