X passed before settlement.Is his wife due anything
I was named Executor to my daughters estate- Wrongfull death lawsuit. Although her Father and she were not close he was notifed of suit. He passed 5 months before settlement. Does his wife need to be notified and is she entitled to any reward?

That would depend upon whether X was entitled to any of your daughter's estate if he was still alive. If so, then his estate would include his portion of the settlement. This is a very basic answer and knowledge of all the facts is required to give a specific and definitive answer. My advice is to contact a probate attorney.
