Legal Question in Workers Comp in Massachusetts

workers comp. refusing health care: I am disabled

During the past 2+ years I have been battling the Law firm that represents my (former)employer re:Workers Comp. issues. I sustained numerous severe injuries ,that has since become disabling, due to the lack of approvals for proper and neccessary medical treatments.Being that I am only 36 years of age, that although the many Specializing Doctors that have been trying to heal me ,have now decided that I am permanently disabled. My question is , how is it that the Workers Comp.Co., and also the Law firm that represents them , can say that I am not disabled solely because of my age? This has been an on going battle ,and I am led to believe from my many Doctors ,that it is because I did not get approvals for the much needed medical treatments ,that this is why I am totally disabled.I need to know what I should do ,My Atty., doesn't seem to have any answers that are of my best interest. My Atty. feels it would be best for me to settle on a lump sum , instead of collecting a weekly check.I am desperate to find a way to beat the Ins. Co. at their own game. PLEASE HELP

This is a complicated issue and I am not sure exactly how to assist you. Generally, of course, you should follow your attorneys advice. I have some general information about workers compensation on my web site, www.FiorentiniLaw.com if that is of any assistance.
