Legal Question in Immigration Law in Mexico

I have been living in mexico for about 6 months I met a wonderful man here and we would love to get married I am an amrican citizen and I will be returning to the usa before the end of the year I would love to know would it be best to marry here in mexico or can we marry in the usa which is what we truly wish for and file there without him having to leave if so how does he enter the usa thankyou for you time

Your best option is get married in Mexico before you leave it. Therefore, you have to get permit before the National Migration Institute (Instituto Nacional de Migracion). You will need your birth certificate, do a application and pay government fees. Then you will be able to get married.

The process could be faster in Mexico, however take into consideration the USA immigration laws which constrain documents from aboard, specially for immigrations purposes. If you decide to get married in the USA, he can get into the USA with a Tourist Visa, and later after marriage, update the immigration status before the respective authorities.
