What is the cost of the average bankruptcy?

And does all cash have to be spent to file?

Attorneys charge anywhere from One Thousand to Five Thousand Dollars, which generally includes the court filing fee of $300. Some attorneys accept credit cards as payment for legal fees - it depends on the lawyer.
