Consignment Stores
If a consignment store fails their lease and is ordered out of their center, who owns the product inside? Can the landlord keep the product to resell to cover lost rent?

The inventory belongs to the store/tenant, unless the tenant abandons the merchandise. The landlord cannot refuse the tenant access to the items after evicted.
