Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan

I work for a collection company and when i started there , they had offered me $10.00an hour and commission after $7000.00 (22%) then once i hit $11,000. (25%).that was six years ago. now the company says that they are changing the commission rate and how much your bottom bar is and giving only 2o%. my new rate is $8796.00 at 20% and at $18,000 then 25% . my question is a verbal contract binding?????? i will lose aproximate . $6000-$7000 a year in income. i know my whole office would join me in persuet
