i was assulted by employee in a place of buisness on camera and substained severe injuries which requires surgery torn acl ect. ...what will the out come be ...if monitary what would should figures look like?

This answer applies only to Michigan. Assuming that you were a customer, you'd be surprised to find that you may not be able to successfully sue the employer of the bad guy. The courts have reasoned that the employee went so far outside of his or her employment that the employer is not responsible. There is substantial case law that the employer has no duty to inquire as to whether the employee has a past criminal history. If you find all this amazing, you have those pro-insurance Supreme Court justices to thank for this. If you did not vote carefully for the Supreme Court candidates then you are responsible for putting these guys in office. My guess is that those decisions may be overturned now with the new make-up of the Supreme Court but you are talking years of litigation. You can sue the person who assaulted you, of course, but collectibility is always a problem. William S. Stern
