Legal Question in Construction Law in Michigan

I was named along with my company in a lawsuit, can I defend this on my own or do I need council.

In Michigan, an individual is allowed to represent themself in court. An LLC or Corporation is required to be represented by an attorney. If your company is an LLC or Corporation you will need to hire an attorney or risk having a default entered against the corporate entity.
