Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Discrimination
I recently moved to Michigan from another state, I tried to rent a product from a rental company, I met all the requirements that they asked me to meet, they said they would deliever the item the next day and I paid the rental payment and signed the contract, they never deleivered the item and said they would not do so because when they called the landlord the landlord said the lease was almost up, [I had 6 months ] but I feel the real reason is because my I.D. is from the other state in which I lived
I feel this would be Discrimination based on the fact I am not from that state?

Re: Discrimination
From the facts stated, the rental company is in breach of the contract. The requirements of a valid contract - offer, acceptance and consideration have been met.
