Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

i have several cards that I have been unable to make payments on. for about 6 months. some have gone to collectors, I am starting to recover somewhat and would loke to make small, very small payments to them. most are refusing the amount that i offer as not enou but if I just start sending them the payment, does that constitue an agreement if they cash the check? can they still file a judgement against me? and would these payments be taken into consideration as my good faith effort to pay the debt?

They can cash your checks but this does not stop them if you are in default. A judgment is only if you default after being sued. Don't let that happen. Contact me for assistance.
