Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

I have a person who says hes from a law firm trying to contact me. He says that a complaint has been filed against me. He has called my work several times (i am not allowed to have personal calls at work so I have not spoken to him) but he has berated and threatened my co-workers and yesterday came to my work and said if I dont call him immediately that he will show up tmrw with law enforcement. The number he gave me to call is an out of state number so I question the validity of his statements. But why would he have to bring law enforcement to my work? is it illegal to not return a phone call? And is it even legal for him to disturb me at my place of employment?

You are best off speaking to this person to get what they are trying to serve you with. They may be violating debtor creditor law. It could be a scam too. Payday loan?
