Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I was charged with posession of heroin about 3 or 4 years back and I was able to use 7411, and I have never used since. I completed my probation without any problems and my record is now expunged. Recentlly my best friend and my uncle who was also my godfather died, both drug related deaths. I was very upset about it for a long time and decided to get some xanax by illegal means because me being a drug addict, no doctor will give me anything that will work. Well I got caught with some xanax now, which is another felony. My question is, is there any hope for me to do anything about this felony going on my record, and will the charge that was expunged before also go onto my record? I just cant imagine having a felony on my record, it scares the death out of me. I am going to school and am almost done, I have a full time job, and this xanax thing was a one time deal since the 3 or 4 years I was caught before. Not sure that that even matters. Is there ANYTHING I can do about it?
