Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
embezzelment
I have a question on embezzelment i have a friend that is female that has been charged with on count of embezzelment for more then $1000 but no more then $20,000 she is 20 years old and has never been in any kind of trouble at all she has a job and is very ready to start paying the money back she is just worried about jail time do you think she will get any jail time and if so how much. she also admited to the crime and did not try to lie about it there was also another party in the crime but she is not confessed to the crime yet. thanks for your help. Every case and every defendant is different. Has your friend asked her attorney's opinion yet? If not, she should. There is no way anyone can give her an uninformed, accurate opinion.
