Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Help! I have been greatly wronged!

My rights to privacy may have been violated by District Court of St. Clair County, MI. I had my momr call them for me because it is a local phone call for her. During the phone call they told her everything that ever happened despite 7411. I believe my privacy was violated because under the 7411 Act, If something is expunged, how is it that the court will tell anyone who calls up their office someone's criminal record?

While it is true that no public record is kept for purposes of 7411 status and the courts are not to give out such information, you may have opened "pandora's box" by having your mother serve as your agent in contacting the court for you. In your efforts to save the cost of a phone bill and have your mother call for you you may have tacitly waived any privacy rights you had concering your non-public record. It is more thgan obvious that you provided your mother with sufficient information to serve as your go between with the court. Good luck in the future. If you don't want your mother to know about your business in the future don't have her call for you.
