michigan warrants
i am to be sentenced for a felony this week but i have 2 outstanding misdemenor warrants in a county what would happen if i turned myself in on the misdemenor warrants would the judge fo my felony case issue me a warrant for failure to appear if i am already in jail is that a good move or just a bad idea thank u for some advice!!!
Re: michigan warrants
Your best move is to let your attorney deal with all of the judges that are involved to determine how they want to handle this.

It depends on whether you get jail time on the felony. If you are, I'd take care of the felony first on the outside chance that any misdemeanor disposition would result in time served.

Re: michigan warrants
It is best to get yourself turned in. Judges will usually work with one another regarding jail time. Besides, just because a warrant is out for your arrest does not mean you will be instantly jailed. If you go in with an experienced attorney, like myself, that may not happen. Of course, if you are jailed on your instant offense there is a chance you could be transported their on the other cases.
