Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

i recently ende up slashing a kids tire in anger the cop called me after i left and told me that i could either pay for the tire or have a warrant out for my arrest i ended up paying for the tire but the kid never called the officer and told him i payed for it and i do have my bank statment showing i payed for it by check. but 0they still issused the warrent and i ended up getting pulled over and taken to jail and had to pay 500 dollars for bail. i have court comming up i am just wondering sence i have proof of paying for it will they drop the charges or what will happen. and is there anything i can do sence the kid didnt hold up to his siide of the deal that we agrreed on. can i sew him or any?
