What replaced Michigans PA 339

As a paramedic, When a person was a danger to self and mentaly unable to make decisions. We could get the police to put the subject in protective custity under PA 339. This law was repealed. But was replaced with another. What is it? This is for Michigan.

ARTICLE 6: SUBSTANCE ABUSE

PART 65: INCAPACITATED PERSONS

333.6501 Protective custody; transportation to approved service program

or emergency medical service; exception; lawful force; protective steps;

individual not under arrest; entry or other record; transfer facility;

emergency service unit or staff; transportation by officer; custody;

emergency treatment of individual arrested; criminal prosecution and

administration of tests. [M.S.A. 14.15(6501)]
