Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Michigan

harassment

My boss has started to single me out. He is asking for things that no other Area Manager has to do, such as reports, the time we start and end, etc. This has been going on for about 10 months or so. He is allowing other manager to come and go as they please, but watches my every second. What can I do? I can't work like this any more. I have been with the company for 15 years with excellent reviews. This new boss has only been with our department for 11 months. Please give me some advice. I don't want to leave!!!

Re: harassment

You may have some recourse if you can show that the harrassment is due to race, religion, color, creed or national origin. If he does not simply like you, you probably have no recourse. Even if it is related to some protected right, you have no damages at present and an attorney may be reluctant to take your case. Now you perhpas understand why people unionize.
