Re: I blew a .29 what am i really looking at?

Assuming that you are charged with OUIL/UBAL I (a 93 day misdemeanor), and have no prior alcohol related offenses, you are looking at a possible 2 weeks in the OCJ and 1-2 years probation plus community service; up to $1000 fines and costs, and a suspended license . If you have prior offenses, you could be looking at more jail time, vehicle immobilization and license revocation. The Novi court (52-1) is in the process of reevaluating punishment for drunk driving. A .29 BAL indicates you're an experienced drinker which suggests a need for rehabilitation.

Your sentencing depends upon the gravity of the circumstances surrounding your arrest, your past record, and your current behavior.
