Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My boyfriend is about to finalize his divorce. His wife claims that I have been verbally and emotionally abusive to their son and so therefore I shouldn't be allowed in his presence. This is completely false, but so far her words have seemed to carry a lot of weight in the county this is occurring, as it is notoriously known to be a county that favors women in family court.

I feel that she is doing this to be manipulative and vindictive....but can she somehow make this happen without calling witnesses? No one would testify to the fact that this true. Should I be concerned that I won't be able to join my boyfriend's family for holidays? What if we get married?

Your boyfriends divorce lawyer should be able to get this cleared up for you. If not, hire another attorney.
