Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Getting child support from my dad

My grandparents had partial custody of me and I think my grandparents signed off so that my dad would not have to pay child support. Both of my grandparents are deceased I am 26, but was wondering how I would be able to find out if they signed a waiver so that my dad did not have to pay child support and I was wondering if i would be able to go back and get the child support from him now?
