Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Child Visitation

I have full custody of my 13 year old son who went to visit his Dad in Michigan and his dad is refusing to return him home for his Granddad's impending death. He has been away for nine days and I need to know what I should do to get my son back.

Re: Child Visitation

You can tell your ex you are going to contact the police to have your son returned, only if you think that will help, and not worsen the situation. Otherwise I would strongly recommend immediately hiring a lawyer to file the necessary paperwork to have a hearing wherein the judge can order the father to return the son to your custody.

Please contact me if you need assistance. Good luck.

Re: Child Visitation

Hire an attorney to ask for a court order to return your son.
