custodial rights for non custody parent taking child out of state

I have a 8 year old daughter who sees her father every other weekend and he is telling my daughter that he is taking her to wisconsin for thanksgiving weekend and told her he is picking her up on thursday and will bring her back on sunday but he only gets her from 8am-6pm on holidays what are my rights and can he take her out of state.

Most judgments of divorce or final judgments require court approval prior to removing the minor child(ren) from the State of Michigan.

I would review the judgment with an attorney and decide whether to file a motion before the referee barring such action.
