Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My best friend just went through a divorce and his ex-wife would not allow him to get his possesions that were awarded to him in the divorce agreement, until it was final. He went to retrieve his possesions, and she would not give them all to him. How can he file a motion to enforce the udgement and show just cause why should should be held in "contemp" for not abiding by the divorce agreement?

Does he need an attorney?
