Limited guardianship

On the letters of guardianship papers is there an area that indicates termination of guardianship? Can it be open ended?

Guardianship documents must be filed on a yearly basis to justify the existence of the guardianship. In addition, it can always be terminated by request, if approved by the judge. William S. Stern
