Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

ex moved to texas on military duty

Hello,

My ex wife has recently moved to Texas for six months on military leave. I have joint legal custody of our minor of two years old. She has full physical and has written a letter of power of attorney to her sister to give me a hard time. The child has lived with me 20 months out of 24.

I have recently filed motion to regain physical custody of my daughter and her sister filed motion against me. Our court date is in two weeks. I have been told by my lawyer they will not win, but I guess I need reassurance by others. Do you think they might have a chance?

Mike

Either you trust your lawyer or you don't trust your lawyer.

If you trust your lawyer, then trust the lawyer's legal opinion.

If you do not trust your lawyer, hire another lawyer that you do trust.

No other (new) lawyer can properly give you an opinion about your case based on your few sentences on the internet.
