Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Moving Out of State

Prior to moving to Arkansas, we contacted friend of the court and were told that if the paper work didn't say that we were unable to change domicle, we could. Having the fathers verbal agreement, we wrote up a visitation contract, which actually gave him more time and freedom with her, then the father wasn't able to be contacted to schedule an appointment with friend of the court. Having lost our home in Michigan due to work related issues, we were forced to move to Arkansas in hopes of a better life for everyone & were we had family that could help us out a little bit. Now we are recieving letters from the friend of the court saying to return her to Michigan and continue ordered visitation and petition the court for permission to leave the state. I was given full legal and physical custody of this child back in 1995-96. We tried to do the right thing and still seem wrong, what can happen now and what should we do? We can't afford another job loss or move back to Michigan, everything has come together wonderfully for us until this. Thank You for Your Time.
