Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I was in the Navy and stationed in Japan. I met a woman, we had a child together, moved to the states and got married. She did not like it her in America, and one day with no notice just left and went back home with my daughter. I haven't been able to see my daughter or have any contact with her since. The japanese governmenrt will not help me, and the Navy will not help me. What are my rights in this case, and how can I see my daughter again? I have gone back to Japan, and my wife is no where to be found and the officials won't help because I'm American.
