Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Parenting Time

My husband has physical custody of his 9 yr old daug. He is in the military and is in school training in OK. He left power of attorney to me. He made an agreement with his ex-wife to leave the child with maternal grandparents while he is away. His ex-wife attempted to remove the child from her parents home without my husband's consent. I took physical custody back from her parents house. She is now asking while he is away training that the court grant her interim custody. She is a full time student at MSU and has a PT job that is 11/2 away from her residency at a Casino. She never excersices her alloted parenting time now because shes to busy too. My husband wants his daughter to stay with me for the 3 months remaining of his training so that she continues to play basketball, attend church, and bible studies while being able to maintain a relationship with the extended family on both sides. (his and his ex-wife's) What are the chances that a referee would not remove the child from my home?
