Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Hello, I was charged with MDOP last year in March 2009. I fought it in court and pleaded to "Disturbing the Peace" instead. Today, I just found out that Royal Oak 44th District Court in Michigan, never reduced it from "MDOP" to "Disturbing the Peace". Therefore, I've had MDOP on my record for almost 1 yr. now and damaging my character without even knowing it! During that time, I've applied for many jobs, and because of this MDOP incorrection on my record, I'm now probably "blacklisted" from any employer hiring me. Can I file suit against the Royal Oak 44th District Court for a gross error and wrongful conviction and damages and deformation of character?

Thanks. James
