Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Dear Sirs or Madamme,I am being sued by a "loan buyer",and I cannot afford legal representation.The company purchased a credit card loan on which I defaulted. What would be the best way for me to defend myself against this action?

Make sure you answer the complaint within the time limits specified on the summons.. If you don't - you lose. If you file any kind of an answer, you might be able to negotiate a settlement you can afford.
