Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Judgement

I have a judgement case that I won, and the party that is to pay has left town and filed bankrupcy. Time passed has been since 1996. There is still an amount owed to me. Can you file bankrupcy on an judgement and is it to late to collect. I also have a garnishment clause in the judgement. Is there a statute of limitation on the time for this judgement order.
