Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

I parked my vehicle legally on the street (curbside) near my home. During the course of the morning I noticed a landscape crew cutting the lawn at the home where I had parked my vehicle. Upon returning to my vehicle approximately one hour after the landscape company had completed cutting the lawn, I immediately noticed damaged to my passenger side door that was faced curbside. I notice no damage to the door prior to parking my vehicle, and I immediately suspected the cause of the damage was from a riding lawn mower that used by one of the landscapers that morning. I did not actually witness the damage, but I need to know what legal options I have in order to getting the landscape company to take responsibility for the damage?

First, get an estimate. Then you will know what the damage will cost.

You can report it to your insurance company if you have coverage.

You can sue the landscaping company.

Your case is very weak, so I hope that your insurance will cover it.
