Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Is it proper jurisdiction to sue a photographer in a district court where the photographer has shot photos but does not reside? For instance, if a photographer's business is in Flint, but he takes photos all over the state of Michigan, and even internationally, is the photographer able to be sued in any of these places?

Pursuant to MCL 600.1621, venue for a suit is proper in "The county in which a defendant resides, has a place of business, or conducts business, or in which the registered office of a defendant corporation is located, is a proper county in which to commence and try an action."
