Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

i recently asked for a window quote from home depot...they said they would have a contactor call me and come out for a measure and a quote within a week...because my window was broke and i needed it replaced asap, i used a different place. 3 days later i got a call from their contractor...i told him i didn't need him to come out...and he said "so how does that help me?"...i apologized and explained i needed it done asap...and he said again...in a pissy voice..."well that doesn't do me anygoo, now does it"...to which i ended the phone call...3 days later i get a bulk mailing from home depot...above my address...instead of my name...it is titled JOE FUKSTICK...I was very upset and called home depot...they said they would research it...2 days later i get a call and they say, they have noway to determine how my name got changed to that...and than ask me "would you like us to change your name back?"...i was flabergasted...i asked her 4 times to speak to a manager...and she kept responding...the manager would tell me the same thign and it would be a waste of time...and I have never been allowed to speak to a manager...is there anything i can do?

Realize that HD's customer service is not a profit center and they really don't care about your complaint. They will at some point hold themselves blameless claiming that they have no control over their contractors. Insulting their customers is not a against the law.

They will at some point hold themselves blameless or ignore you altogether - claiming that they have no control over their contractors. Insulting their customers is not against the law unless they refuse to correct their mailing.
